We are a small family run driving school established almost 20 years and based in Euxton.  Our cars are maintained to the highest level and main dealer serviced.  We know that not everyone wants to deal with gears so we have both manual and automatic vehicles to suit all tastes.   

We offer driving lessons with an experienced driving instructor within the Chorley and Leyland area with driving tests conducted at the Chorley driving test centre.

Here at Excel School of Motoring we pride ourselves with our excellent pass rate.  Our clients go into their driving test knowing they have developed a life skill and are ready to progress their driving career.

We have experience conducting the training and examining full licence holders for the Diamond Advanced and Elite Driving Test (including Taxi and enhanced Taxi Test)  and also observing/training for the Institute of Advanced Motorcyclists. 

We also have experience providing assessment, training and monitoring for the Royal Mail and Parcelforce drivers.

It's in our interest to help you get you fully qualified and through your driving test as soon as possible - we would very much like a great review of your experience with us when you've passed your driving test.

However, everyone is different and learning to drive can seem easier for some and more challenging for others.  As with anything in life, the more you put in the more you get out.  We just ask you have regular sessions and be realistic with your expectations. 

Beethoven didn't become a world renowned pianist by practicing 1 hour a week for 6 weeks!  

There is no magic bullet.  We will do all we can on each driving lesson with the latest coaching techniques.  

If you have the opportunity to practice in a family members car you will achieve your goals so much sooner.
